Joy Doll, real name Joy Dahl, was born on December 16, 1994, in Oahu, Hawaii. She is a rising female rapper, singer, and content creator best known for her dynamic and versatile sound. Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Joy endured and overcame many struggles through life that fueled her relentless and creative spirit.
Joy’s passion for music was publicly pronounced in May 2024 when she began rapping, channeling her outgoing personality and free-spirited nature. With a unique blend of musical influences ranging from Lil Wayne, Drake, Starlito, Billie Eilish, and Beyoncé, Joy brings a fresh and diverse approach to her music. She possesses the ability to seamlessly blend artistic styles and ignores genre constraints which sets her apart as an artist. Joy who playfully uses the moniker “Big Mama” is not afraid to take risks and push boundaries!
In her short but meteoric rise, Joy has already made significant strides by working in rooms alongside notable artists such as grammy-alumnus Chalie Boy; Tay Money; Waka Flocka Flame, Fredo Bang, Da Baby and many others. In fact, Big X the Plug (the current day Texas hip-hop superstar) recently openly praised her talent, stating, "She hard! . . ." and denoted she was definitely a musical talent to watch!
